give me bangles.

Bangles are everywhere for Spring! I love the mixture of textures and prints seen here at Louis Vuitton for spring. Wear a few or wear a whole stack of them all the way up the arm or even both arms if you dare.

sweet dreams.

This has nothing to do with fashion, but I love this room. All the light... and that comfy looking bed. The black, white, and gray color pallet. I want this room.

refreshed.

photos from style.com

Every six months or so I go a little O.C.D and do a major PURGE. I go through all my clothes and shoes and put everything I haven't worn in the last six months into a pile to be donated. But, this time I have made a pact with myself to really pare down and try to find my style. I have a tendency to buy things that I really love while in the store, and then I get them home, and said items don't go with any of my other pieces. During today's wardrobe search and purge I paid attention to which pieces I really wear over and over again and I have come up with the answer! I love all of my black, white, and gray clothing, as well as my pieces that are muted in color. I love to buy prints.... but, usually wear them once, if that, and I tire of them quickly. Except STRIPES, I love stripes. I love texture and sequins in moderation. And I'm obsessed with little structured blazers and jackets. Once and for all I'm going to streamline my look and get rid of all the fussy one wear pieces. So, in 2009 fashion it's time to start rebuilding my wardrobe with pieces that I love and will wear day after day. My closet now has some space to breathe, I can see a clear picture of my wardrobe and I know where I need to fill in the gaps. I feel refreshed and renewed! Now if only I could get my hands on these Phillip Lim pieces....

heaven on earth.

There is one treat that I love just about as much as finding that perfect bag or pair of shoes. And that treat is..... Macarons. I love them! I mean really LOVE them! They are so pretty and delightfully French! So, even though that makes this post decidedly un-fashion related, not really a word but go with it, I must tell you about Paulette Macarons, which has just opened in Hayes Valley!! I am so excited, as I have tried the macarons at many Patisserie's here in the city, and I can't wait to head over and pick some up to try!! mmmm.... I can't wait!

Garance. Dore.

One of my favorite blogs, Garance Dore is a constant inspiration. I loooove all of her beautiful street style photos as well as her illustrations, And this Photo just about sums up PERFECTION. Oh to be French and oh so chic. The structural lines of the top, the rolled up khaki's.... so chic and so covettable. LOVE.

obsession.

The Chloe Paraty Bag. All I have to say is one word. OBSESSION.

I've been lusting after this bag for quite some time. Lingering in the Chloe section at Nieman's or Nordstroms' day dreaming about the fabulousness that is the Chloe Paraty. My obsession had slowly started to calm, until today.... when out of the blue I had a sighting, and the fire was lit once again. And So, my obsession continues....

my morning inspiration.

As I try to get back into the groove of things after the holidays, I know, its been almost three weeks. But, Anyway, these early mornings are a killer and are desperately in need of some inspiration to get me going. Seeing as I posted about Prefall yesterday, this is a bit of a digression.... but I couldn't help myself. Balmain's spring 09' collection is full of shapely shoulders and exquisite detailing. These jackets have me feeling a little shopping trip in search of something architectural.... Maybe a little lunch hour shopping?

Oh, proenza....

Pictures from style.com

The frenzy of Fashion Week is yet to start, but, alas PreFall is here to tide us over. A preview of what's to come.... a little tidbit for fashion lovers. I present to you Proenza Schouler Prefall 09'. I want it all and I'm drooling just looking at all the beautiful pieces. All the layers and the dark muted colors. I love the juxtaposition of the soft knits against the shine of the sequined pieces, and the layering of different textures. What else can I say... it's love.

A New Year. A New Start.

With Fashion Week just a few weeks away and January coming to an end, there seems to be no more perfect a time to start Bisou Bisou.

Bisou Bisou is about fashion, inspiration, creativity, and living life in the city. It's about living a Chic life. It's about being Happy and Content with life and it's little luxuries... like sipping a cup of hot tea at the end of what has been a lovely winter day in San Francisco. I hope that with Bisou Bisou I can inspire some of you other fashion lovers out there in the Bloggosphere.....
