In NEED.

I must, absolutely MUST, get my hands on this Guerlain Kohl eye liner!! It's sold out on the Sephora website and not sold in their stores....

So, today at work my mission is to march myself down to the Guerlain counter and demand to know if we sell this product and then Happily buy said eye liner.

That is all.

Discovery.

Being a Fashion student and Fashion lover as well as working I am probably one of the biggest coffee freaks! I love Coffee! Lattès, mochas, cappuccinos, I love it all. And, one of the most important things for me is to have a cute, local coffee shop in my neighborhood. Just like my groceries, I like to buy local whenever possible when it comes to my coffee. So, since we are moving I'm on the lookout for a coffee shop in my new neighborhood.

Voila! I think I found my new cafeine heaven. The Creamery, on 4th and Townsend in Mission bay! They use Ritual Roasters coffee, a San Francisco favorite and I love the atmosphere. There are seats and tables outside so that on one of those great warm San Francisco days you can enjoy your coffee outside in the sun. The interior also calls to me with concrete flooring and rustic wood panel walls! It's modern rustic in all the right ways! And they have great coffee to boot! I found my new hideaway.

Movin' on up.

The time has come my friends. It's that time. The end of my lease. So, The BF and I will be moving to a new place, a much better place! We are currently happy residents of the SOMA area and when we realized our lease was almost up we had quite a predicament. Should we stay here in our apartment OR should we look for a new place since the market is down and we all could use a little break on the rent. After doing the craigs list thing and scouring new neighborhoods, we happened to come across an ad for openings in Mission Bay. Then on one of our days off we decided to go down there to poke around for a bit. We walked into one of the buildings hoping for an opening and for the chance to see some apartments that day and, to our surprise, our old leasing agent from our current building walks out into the lobby! After all the hellos she cleared an hour of her schedule and told us to meet her at 3:00 that day to see some spaces! And so we did. And, what can I say, it must be fate, we run into our favorite leasing agent and all in the same day she helps us find the perfect apartment for what we are looking for!! So, ladies and gents, we will be moving just three short weeks from now into our new apartment in the lovely Mission bay.

I'm really, really excited about this move! I've been exploring around the area and I love my new neighborhood. There is a gigantic Borders' and we're really close to AT&T park so we can go to Giants baseball games! There are also a whole bunch of little restaurants and cafès that I can't wait to try, I'm such the foodie. I think that it was deffinitaly meant to be! SO, here we come Mission Bay!!

Spring time in the City.

Style.com

With the weather being so nice here in San Francisco, I can't help but think about Spring! Especially since we are officially in the first week of Spring, Even though Spring in San Francisco only means the rising of a few degrees in temperature. But I happen to like it that way. A beautiful sunny day with a crisp breeze, Spring in San Francisco is so refreshing! Plus, I like to layer and wear jackets, I just feel like they complete the outfit! I love this look from Dries Van Noten, it's simple, chic and completely wearable!

I'm also still coveting this knuckle ring from Robert Lee Morris for Elizabeth and James. I love how its modern and yet organic at the same time! The shape and size are just so perfect and I just know I would wear it with everything!

My New Friend.

So, here it is... My birthday present to myself. Meet my new friend Chloè. I've had her since Monday but just hadn't gotten around to snapping a photo until now. I'm in love, truly, truly in LOVE.

Cage My Heart.

During today's adventures the Boyfriend and I did a little browsing in Barney's... And, there they were. The YSL Cage booties. I love them, and I must say, I'm a little obsessed with them. I love where Stefano Pilati took the whole cage concept and not only did the boot but continued onto the heel creating a shoe that incorporates structure but is also light and shows the skin in a new and sexy way. But, there are some who don't like this shoe. What do you think?? Is this a shoe that you would where?

Farm Fresh.

Today was, again, a BEAUTIFUL day in San Francisco!!

It was sunny and warm and I got to wear one of my favorite summer dresses! The Parents, my boyfriend and I made a trip down to the Ferry Building for the Saturday Farmer's Market. We browsed the artists' stalls and wondered through the aisles of produce where we scooped up some fresh apple juice, a bunch of oranges, some Bok Choy and some brocolini.

Inside the Ferry Building we shopped the many stalls of gourmet food, wines, and specialty goods. I, of course, had to make a stop at Miette where I picked up some Macarons and Madelines. I also picked up a pretty Dendrobium plant that will find a new home in our new apartment. It was so lovely to walk around smelling all the great smells and looking at all the wonderful food! I just wanted to try everything! It was so wierd to have a Saturday off where I really had nothing to do accept hang out with the Family and shop around.

After we had thoroughly seen and tried everything at the Ferry Building, we made our way over to the Marina where we did a little more shopping. I saw the most fabulously silky and drapey top at a little boutique in the Marina which I may just have to make a trip back to snatch up.

Today was just one of those really great days in the city, you never know what you'll find and end up doing!

And now I'm back home here in SOMA, ready for the next adventure.... The Sushi Bar for Dinner.

Inspired.

Le Fashion

I saw this over on Le Fashion and had to share! I love everything about this photo. The beautiful sequined military jacket, the tassels, her quietly seductive stare, and her tousled hair, it all makes this photo just fabulous.

Leather Love.

La Garconne

I am completely in love with this Leather motorcycle jacket from La Garconne! It looks so luxurious and soft.... It's just fabulous! All the zippers, and that collar, and I love the ribbed insets that are under the arms. If anyones' felling generous... hehe.

Sunshine.

It's a beautiful day today here in San Francisco! The sun is shining and it's a cool 70 degrees, which is quite warm for San Francisco. To celebrate such a wonderful day in the city, I took my parents for a leisurely stroll through China Town, of course with a stop at the new China Gates American Apparel, I couldn't help myself! With the sun out and shining it was a great day to take some pictures as well. I took a few photos as we made our way down Grant and through China Town. We were on the hunt for some good noodles and for Golden Gate Bakery which is known for its tremendous line and great food! I was also on a hunt for a large white stone Buddha that I will proudly display in my new Foyer. (Oh, by the way I'm moving apartments, but more on that later.) We did manage to find some great noodles, but alas, no Buddha for me. Oh well, next time!

Back to San Francisco.

Well, I'm back from Vegas and Spring Break is over! It's been a long, adventure filled week full of shows, gambling, and great food! I'm just sad that I wasn't able to take any food pictures! It feels kind of strange to pull out a monster DSLR at a nice restaurant and start snapping away. Which is why I need to look for a new, small, digital point and shoot camera. But, anyway.... I saw the Cirque Du Soleil show LOVE, which is all about The Beatles, and is fabulous!! It was one of the best shows that I have seen! Amazing acrobatics alongside great dancing and of course Beatles music!
The Food was definitely another big highlight of the trip! We had a wonderful lunch outside on the terrace of the Paris Hotel at the Petit Ami Gabi Bistro where I had my favorite Moules Frites! We also had a fabulous dinner at Micheal Minna's NobbHill restaurant, which was AMAZING!! I had the Sonoma Chicken with Truffle Macaroni and Cheese, which was out of this world! And, of course we couldn't leave without going to the Bellagio for the great Buffet, where I probably ate my weight in King Crab Legs!
And of course then there was the Gambling!! I played Craps mostly, and I actually won and made some money!! Hello Chloè Paraty bag.... Anyway, all and all I had a fabulous time in Vegas and I can't wait to go back and stay in the Bellagio and Gamble some more!! But, As of now I am pooped and I still have a week left with my parents, who are here in San Francisco visiting me!! Sorry about the long sebatical and I hope that you all had a wonderful Spring Break full of fun and memories!!

Cafè Life.

Ah, Cafè life.... One of my most favorite things to do, and undoubtedly chic, is to go to my local Cafè and sit sipping a lattè while reading a book, working on my laptop, or just doing some good old people watching. It's so relaxing on a sunny, but crisp, day in San Francisco. I know that after the whirlwind that Vegas will be over Spring Break, I'll just want to go and relax at a Cafè upon my arrival back into this beautiful city!

Early Mornings.

Early mornings. Well, I have to say that I'm not quite the morning person. But, today something happened. I woke up for my usual 8:30 Monday class, where as soon as the alarm screeches I usually curse the morning and hit the snooze button. I did hit the snooze button today and silently cursed my choice of early classes but got up and moving pretty quickly. I went to class and got my usual hot green tea from Cafe Trieste, took my midterm and was out by 9:00. Walking to towards the Art store after class I was struck by what a beautiful day it is today in San Francisco, still cold, but beautiful. After noticing how beautiful and calm it is at that usually ungodly hour I decided to do my errands that I most likely would have not finished on any other given day. Procrastination is my specialty. I went and bought a Latte as I waited for Nordy's to open... Ahh It was a wonderful time, Why haven't I realize the beauty of the morning hours before?? I then was the first into Nordstrom's, picked up some loot (fabulous heeled booties, with studs down the heels), and then headed toward home at 10:30! I bought groceries before heading up to my apartment and made myself an egg white omelet! What a beautiful morning....
And now I'm right here, pleasantly full sans food-coma, writing this post.

What a fabulous day it has been, and yet, it's only 11:40.

Happy Sunday.

Happy Sunday! This week is coming to a close and the time just seems to be going so fast! Last night was daylight savings, and I'm just thankful I knew about it ahead of time. (There is no Daylight savings in Hawaii.) So, I was on time for work and springing forward went on without a hitch this year.

I can't believe we're already headed into a new week! And, that we have this week and then it's Spring Break!! I hope you are all going to be doing something fun this year, Whether it be Mexico, Miami, New York or maybe just a relaxing time at home!

Here are some lovely photos from the Sartorialist that I wanted to share with you. More shows tomorrow, post Midterm.... Anyway, I hope all of you lovelies are having a wonderful Sunday night! Here's to a new week!

Balmain!

Balmain! J'adore, J'adore, J'adore!!! It was so hard to pick my favorites as I loved it all! Ah, Paris, I knew you wouldn't disappoint me. The exaggerated shoulder from S/S has reappeared and I like it!

I absolutely adore this skirt, with all its studded lovelyness. I certainly feel a DIY coming on!! Christophe Decarnin knows exactly how to pull me in and entangle my heart with his beautiful creations!

I just love all the blazers... especially in my Jacket obsessed nature.

Ah, Perfection!! I'm so excited to see all the other Paris shows!!!

March.

I can't believe it's already March. Where did the month of February go?? Where has the time gone?? It feels like it was just yesterday that the Spring semester of school started and I started this blog. Now here we are in March with midterms next week and Spring Break just after that. Oh, well... Paris Fashion Week is here!! Paris has always been my favorite so I'm excited!! I can't wait to see what Louis Vuitton and Balmain have in store for us!! I'm sure there will be much for the fashion world to be excited about and of course I'm excited to see the street style of the oh so chic Parisians. What shows are you excited about??

Besides being excited about the fabulous Paris shows, I can't help but be excited about Spring Break. This year I will be going to Las Vegas!! I've never been and I can't wait to check out that scene and break out some new party outfits!! I'm really excited about going to see the Cirque du Soleil show Love, it's going to be fabulous!! And, I can't wait to go to the Bellagio for Champagne brunch!! It's going to be an adventure and I hope that I can do some winning with beginners luck! Wish me Luck!
