I confess. I am an absolute Gossip Girl lover. I just love it. I love everything about it. I love each character and the intricacies of their personalities. I love New York and I get to watch my favorite city showcased by a cast full of beautiful people who do and say the most sinful and delightful things. Most of all I love Serena and Blair. I love them both and I, of course, love both of their wardrobes. Serena is just so bohemian chic while Blair is over the top while always being lady like. Ahh, I Love, Love, Love Gossip Girl.... Hmmm, Maybe I should pop in my Season one DVD's?

Ah, Summer.... I know, I know I've been talking about summer for some time. But, The sunshine, the beautiful summer themed spreads, and my upcoming Vegas trip have got Summer on the brain. I can't wait to be lounging around the pool, finally feeling the heat of the season, for a couple days while I kick off my summer in Vegas. And, I'm ready, I've been hitting the gym and eating right! I'm ready! Here I come Vegas!!!

With that said, maybe it's the Ballet dancer in me, but going to the gym almost everyday has become my lovely addiction. Everyday I just can't wait to get into the gym and work harder than I did the day before!! It also helps that I'm seeing results! But, after quitting ballet almost two years ago I had pretty much stopped working out, or at least stopped working out at the same intensity. I didn't gain weight but I could definitely feel the shift from muscle to sad fat.... I sustained myself on the fact that I walk everywhere in San Francisco! Those days are LONG gone! I am proud to say that along with my usual walking I have added hour long sessions at the gym and I am now really, really paying attention to what I put into my body. And, I find that I am just loving working out and getting back into real shape! I can't wait to go to the gym and that makes me really Happy!!! So beach body, and healthy life here I come!!! Plus who doesn't want to look tip top in there clothes?? An added bonus if I do say so myself!

Floral Fantasy.

Oh, Florals. So pretty and delicate. I love this spread from W magazine and as the mercury begins to rise I find myself more and more attracted to light and airy floral dresses....
With a cropped leather jacket of course.... It's rarely that hot in San Francisco, but one can dream. Everything about this spread is soft and feminine and it just makes me want to lounge around in something silky and beautiful!

As I sit here cuddled up in bed in my big wool sweater the fog is really rolling in. My city has been taken by a vast gray monster, disappearing into a giant haze. After a weekend full of sun and heat we have been catapulted back to reality, back into a bipolar episode that is the weather of San Francisco. I was over on Le Fashion perusing and what is the first post?? None other than some lovely photos showcasing this fabulous Jacket! With that I am suddenly thinking about Fall, at least for the moment. I am definitely coveting this perfectly slim, perfectly tailored black coat. And, I have been looking long and hard for something like it.... Now if only I could find this somewhere in San Francisco. Oh how I love how only in San Francisco can you go from 90 degree weather one day to 50 degrees and foggy the next.... Now I think I may go make myself some Tea...

Ahh, Rachel Bilson. I've watched her since her debut on The O.C. and have loved her ever since, even through some err questionable movies. She has a sunny and warm personality that anyone would love to be around, shes like that ever happy best friend. Plus, her style is chic and a little undone without being fussy. She's pure California with a penchant for taking dressy pieces and making them the utterly casual while still maintaining an air of sophistication. ahhh, yes, Rachel Bilson. I absolutely adore the deep, deep, deep neckline of her top which she anchors with a black belt and diaphonous white trousers. And those stacks of bangles? Fabulous!

It's been a long while. And, I've missed you. Missed writing to anyone who reads my little blog.

This weekend was so beautiful! We had great, albeit extremely hot weather here in San Francisco, It's just too bad that I had to be inside working the whole time. How I wish I could have been outside lazing on a lawn chair with some magazines, a nice cocktail, and some SPF 50 handy!

But, anyway, I know that I haven't written in a while but thankfully last week was my last week of school and my Finals and projects are all long done now. I can finally breath and enjoy not being frazzled! I'm FREE!! And, now I can concentrate on writing, summer and everything else lovely and fun! I'm also really feeling a DIY so I'll have something fun coming up for the Blogosphere.

It's Summer. Officially.

I have just finished my last final and turned in my last paper. Summer is finally here! Spring semester is over and I can now look forward to a whole month off from school until summer semester begins.

I absolutely LOVE summer. Maybe it's because I grew up in Hawaii? Doesn't everyone love summer? Long hot days spent sitting by the pool sipping a cocktail and eating popcicles! Getting that beautiful golden tan, even though I pretty much shun the sun as I am deathly afraid of skin cancer. Vacations and traveling, summer is just filled with fun and great memories! And, I have a feeling that this summer will be no different. This season will be filled with summer parties, barbecues, and afternoons spent lounging in Dolores Park.

The boy and I are also going to Vegas again... We will be spending our anniversary gambling and lounging by the Venetian pool!!! I'm so excited to go to Vegas again, and hopefully we will be able to win some!

Brunch.

Ahhh, Brunch. My Favorite of meals. Half way between breakfast and lunch... Ahh, Heaven. But, First I must say, Happy Mother's Day to all of you wonderful Ladies!!

Now, Back to business. I spent my Mother's Day at brunch at Lime with my lovely friends and our Surrogate Mama, Our Boss. (My parents live a long way away in Hawaii.) There were bottomless Mimosas and great food! It was amazing! I had the Eggs Benedict, my favorite and it was delicious! And, seeing as Lime doubles as a nightclub we also had Spark Plug shots, amazing little Espresso and Kahlua shots, to top off the meal! The music was pumping and it was just a beautiful way to spend a Sunday afternoon, not to mention the beautiful weather today in San Francisco! I do hope that you all had a wonderful day celebrating all the wonderful women in our lives and I highly recommend making a trip to Lime for their awesome brunch!!!
