Dries.

Garancedore

I love this photo... I moseyed over to Garance's blog, as I do everyday, and immediately was taken with this photo. There is just something about her. Everything about this look is laid back and chic, I love the Dries plaid set against the sequined trousers, and the SHOES!!! LOVE them! But, above all, I really just love the Nonchalance of the blouse.... And, now I am in search of something similar that I can just throw on and feel completely chic in.

In dire need of...

AlexanderMcqueen.com

Lately, as the weather warms up, just those few degrees, I have been lusting over the classic Alexander McQueen Skull Scarf. In Grey and white. I definitely need it.... Oh how I want it.... It is the perfect little go to accessory. You can throw it on over a plain white T and jeans and you are instantly chic. Or add it to the skinnies and little blazer combo, of which I have been obsessed with for some time now, and it adds that extra edge. Plus, it takes gives you a little bit of warmth as seeing that summerweather in San Francisco is pretty much the same as every other part of the year, save for the few blissful days when the mercury hits 75.... So, In short, I need this scarf! It's next on my list!

** That is, after I acquire a new Laptop.... I miss you little guy, may you and Michael rest in peace.

Reality.

Ahhh, yes. I am back. Back home in the beautiful city of San Francisco. Back in the land of 60 degree days and fabulous Asian cuisine. Let me tell you Vegas is not exactly the best place for Chinese. But, anyway... I'm back.

I had a lovely little retreat in Vegas for three days with the boy for our anniversary. 7 Years!!! We stayed in a beautiful suite at The Venetian and ate and Gambled
our little hearts out!!! The Venetian was beautiful and our room was fabulous! We did our share of eating and had the wonderful oppurtunity to eat at Michael Mina in The Bellagio for our Anniversary dinner. We shared a wonderful Melon Trio appetizer comprised of three different types of melon prepared in three different ways. I'm so terribly sorry about the lack of food pics, as I forgot my real camera at home and had to make due with the camera on my Iphone.

But, I do have a picture of my entree... The Lamb Shoulder. Now, I must say, I am a Lamb lover. If lamb is on the menu I undoubtedly will try it. What can I say, I love lamb. It's just one of my favorites. And, It was just delicious, surrounded by califlower and little noodles. Mmmmm. Meanwhile, The boy, a true steak and potatoes guy, had you guessed it... The Kobe Beef sampler. Including Skirt
steak,, short ribs, and ribeye. Which was cooked to absolute perfection!

All I can say is Eat at Michael Mina if you ever get the chance! We had a wonderful meal and I just wish I could have taken more pictures!! Over all I am happy to be home and to be back in Reality... Vegas really is a land of fantasy and amazement. It's good to be back!
