Oh, by the way.

My new obsession. The Proenza Schouler PS1 bag.... It's so beautiful. My obsession was cemented today when out of the blue one of my customers was carrying one. I gasped!! It was so beautiful and inconspicuous yet lush. I almost died when she let me touch it....

more.

More Sartorialist love.... Those red shoes are to die for!!! Especially paired with an all black outfit!! And of course it's Jackets, Jackets, Jackets again.

I love her black slightly loose and slouchy skinny trousers. This is yet another one of my obsessions... Black skinny trousers of all types!!

Sartorialist

I just can't help but love this jacket! And I had to share these images, as they are fabulous! The Street style is almost as fun as the runway shows!! But, with that said, I can't say that I have really been overly impressed by any collection yet. There have been good shows and beautiful clothes, but nothing that I'm over the top excited about. But, we'll see we still have a whole bunch of shows to go.

The Sartorialist.

I love, love, love this woman's jacket!!! Balmain?? It's so beautiful in all its sculptured shoulder fabulousness. ah, perfect! Now if only I could get my hands on it! And I'm loving how she's letting the jacket shine and be the center piece of her outfit by complimenting it with all black. I'm always a lover of all black. Well, let me clarify.... I'm always a lover of well thought out all black outfits. Or unexpectedly disheveled yet chic all black. But, I have to say no thank you to an all black outfit that doesn't fit. Anyway, after that all black rant, let me get back to these two wonderful photo's from the Sartorialist...

I love the layering that is going on in this second photo, the black, navy blue, and gray, all pulled together with her fabulous brown shoes and bag.

What can I say? I love jackets. And Blazers. J'adore, J'adore, J'adore. I'm constantly looking for new jackets and I can't seem to live without them. I guess I would say they are my wardrobe staple.

I guess I'll just continue my obsession and die of old age with many, many jackets. I guess it's a good thing I live in San Francisco where you can always use a jacket.

Oh, Garance.

Garance Dore

I just got home from another slow day at work and was winding down with a little Garance, Garance Dore that is. I am seriously in love with her blog and I'm quite obsessed. J'adore! Je suis tres, tres obsede. I just loved these shots that she had on her blog today and had to share them. These two ladies are truly fabulous! I love the huge scarf that the lovely woman in the first photo is wearing!! The layering and different cuts in the second are just to die for... and I LOVE her pants!!!!! And the way each girl has incorporated color into their outfits is fabulous and totally unique to each one. Lovely.....

French Vogue

Sasha Pivovarova In French Vogue April 2008. Just Because.

Blake.

Oh Blake, How I adore thee. These are from W way back in December, but I was looking at them and thought I would share. I simply could not get enough. There is something about Ms. Lively that I just adore....

Maybe it's her vulnerability as Serena on GG.... Or maybe it's her fabulous Hair. Whatever the reason, I love these photo's of her. She looks glamorous and beautiful!

W magazine

Twenty8Twelve.

Here are a few of my favorite looks from the Twenty8twelve duo, sisters Savannah and Sienna Miller as you all know. I love the exaggerated shoulders in this top photo. The little booties that are paired with the looks are oh so delectable! This coat (2nd photo) is exactly what I'm looking for in my search for a new black coat. The off-center row of buttons and asymmetric cut, It's just perfect!

I really love the muted color pallet used in this look, especially the gray tights! I think they have really hit a good note with their jackets! This trench is cute and classic with a twist!

Dhotis? Or Jodhpurs? Whatever they are.... I'm liking the slouchy quality that they have, especially paired with the slouchy yet slim blazer.

All I can say is Congrats to the Miller's on their runway debut for Twenty8twelve. I'm really loving some of the pieces in the collection!!

The Bad Boy.

Bazaar

sunday.

Sartorialist
Ah, It's Sunday night, and I'm just willing the time to go as slow as possible. Oh, the Monday blues. Is anyone else feeling these sad Monday blues? A little Sartorialist action is a good cure for this syndrome.

Doesn't she just look so cozy! If only San Francisco had colder weather.... I would love a coat like the one in the top photo. I just can't take my eyes off the boots that the lovely woman in this> photo is wearing.

Well, I am at least feeling a little inspired in picking out an outfit for my class tomorrow morning. And, I've really been keen on my black pieces, mixing and matching my blacks to new effect. I don't think I've touched any of my colored pieces since December when I was on Holiday at home in Hawaii. One thing is for sure... I will be reaching for something black tomorrow in the bleak morning light!

Phillip Lim.

Oh, Phillip Lim, How I love thee. Each season you surprise me with a new collection for me to lust over. And, this season is no exception. I am in love with the gold sequined jacket in the photo above... And I can't wait to see it in stores. I love how Lim has taken a 60's inspiration and produced a collection that is so modern and utterly wearable. I am also deeply in love with the jacket in the first photo. ( I can't wait to go and try it on come fall)

I'm loving all the little bowl bobs! And this dress ^ is so gorgeous! Gloves have also been making an appearance on the runways, whether it be small lacey ones or long leather beauties. And, I think I'm going to have to run out and grab me a few pairs to wear and to prepare for next fall.

The vest in the picture right above is to die for!!! And I know it will be hard for me to resist. The muted burgundy brown tights are something I definitely want to try, even though I love my Black tights, but it adds a little warmth to the black ensembles.

Ahhh, more jackets!! I'm loving this white one as well. If I don't be careful, I have a feeling I may end up with a closet full of jackets and barely anything else! So, far I would have to say that Phillip Lim has been my favorite collection.... but you never know maybe someone will surprise us! And, also I think it may be a little early to name favorites, as we still have London, Paris, and Milan to go!
