So far at NYFW.

New York Fashion Week is in full swing, and so far it's been an interesting season with much, much more to come. I've been pleased, amused, and just about every emotion in between. This truly is my favorite time of year, filled with Fashion shows, street style, and of course, my birthday which sweetens the deal. Who wouldn't want the gift of new fashion for their birthday.

The Marc Jacobs show was a fabulous distraction from our current economic situation full of big hair, lust worthy accessories, and a fun 80's vibe. Alexander Wang showed us a more grown up, tailored look for his downtown, cool girl, all without losing any of his usual sexiness. I'm excited to see whats to come, and can't wait to see what Balmain has for us for fall.

And, Of course I'm always checking The Sartorialist and Garance Dore to see all the great street style that New York has to offer. I can't help but love this women's cozy printed scarf that she pairs so effortlessly with neutral seperates. The girl above just looks so cozy while still being chic in the New York cold. Oh, how I wish I could be there... and how Jealous I am of my friend Dennis who is having the time of his life, galavanting happily through Manhattan marveling at all the fashionista's. I'm crossing my fingers that he'll bring back some good photos that I can share with you! So, Happy Fashion Week!!! And, bring on the next round of shows!!!
