It has been raining pretty much all day here and after a long stretch of sunny days it was almost welcome. It was an interesting change, and we all know that California really needs the rain. Plus, after dressing for a pseudo summer these past two weeks it was kind of nice to pull out my trench coat! I also was able to make use of my new umbrella. It is the perfect umbrella and I had been searching for one like it for months, even years... It's a fabulous clear umbrella much like the one that Carrie uses in on of the early episodes of Sex & the City. So, my new umbrella made its first appearance and shielded me from the rain as I trudged my way to class. The only thing that I need to complete my rainy weather wardrobe are a nice pair of Wellies!! I love the pastel colors shown in this picture and I especially love the grayish-silver pair!
Rainy days are just the perfect time to stay in and curl up with a good book and a cup of tea!! I absolutely love rainy days in SF for this very reason! So, as soon as class let out I headed home to do just that, and now I am embracing the last few moments of light and milking all I can out of this lazy day!
